My husband and I live in the United States. He is from Crete and retired. I hope to retire in a few more years. We love this spot on Crete and want to share it with others. Check out the youtube video " Chania, Crete Promotion video" for a glimpse of Chania and the wonderful area where this studio is located. We have three children one of whom lives in Crete. We come to visit our 2 year old granddaughter as often as possible.
My husband and I built our house in Greece in the 70's. We lived for a year in Greece then but came back to the US when our children entered school. I am not Greek but learned to speak it and we came every year or two in the summer for our children to visit with family.
The studio is off the main coastal road so it is quiet and peaceful at night. You do not hear cars and motorcycles as you would near the coastal road. The highway through Crete is convenient and accessible from Galatas.
