I am a journalist, writer and teacher living and working in London. My family has owned this wonderful property for four years and enjoy visiting it immensely. Sometimes I use Casa della Meridiana as a retreat for writing, thinking or research. When I'm not using it myself, I like to make it available for rent to writers and academics, artists, friends, neighbours, families and holidaymakers who simply love Italy. It's a peaceful and relaxing place to work creatively or simply get away from it all.

We can't say enough about the wonderful food in the local restaurants and available at the shops or in street markets. The house is very comfortable, in an unpretentious location, with stunning views. We had a really lovely holiday (in spite of the Eyjafjallajökull volcano eruption in Iceland seriously disrupting our travel home)and hope to stay there again sometime in the future.
