Gail and Brough Girling

This is the second year that we've let our wonderful second home which we've lovingly restored with the help of both French and English artisans. We have an English housekeeper, Sharon, who will 'meet and greet' you on arrival and show you the ropes. Happily her husband is a builder who can sort out any small emergencies should they arise.
We're both art lovers and our careers have been based in childrens books and reading culminaing in founding a charity which encourages children to read.
We love our home in the Perigord Noir: the area is truly France Profund and like stepping back into the 1950's. The locals are very friendly and extremely polite - so very charming!!
