I am an orthopedic surgeon who first visited Costa Rica in 1993, when Tamarindo was a one horse town and Playa Langosta was an empty beach with no residences. Now it's grown, but luckily, not to the degree that sacrifices the retained beauty of the area. I consider the Guanacaste area the jewel of Costa Rica. In fact, I wouldn't buy a house in any other area of the country. The home is wonderful - very spacious and well decorated. It was owned by a French family and retains their decor, inside and outside. Enjoy!
