A group of 5 charming sandstone cottages, each well-equipped cottage is decorated and furnished with care to reflect its own character, the properties being maintained by the owners. The cottages are set within extensive gardens, situated on the edge of an attractive Cumbrian village, near the River Eden and surrounded by rolling farmland. The picturesque village of Great Salkeld, with a Pub serving excellent food, offers tranquillity, yet there is easy access to the lakes and mountains of the Lake District, the Scottish Borders, also the many interesting villages of the Eden Valley and Northern Pennines. Local activities include: Walking, Cycling, Golf, Swimming, Sailing, Fishing or visiting the many attractions and historic sites of the Eden Valley and Cumbria. Garth Cottage sleeps 6, has four bedrooms and a large living area with wood burning stove. High Croft and Langriggs each sleep 4. Windale and Mickledale each sleep 3.
