Kirk Komick and his mother Diane Wildfang have spent the last 20 years refurbishing and revitalizing historic 2nd Avenue. Both Kirk and Diane are heavily involved in the local Durango community and can usually be seen walking their dogs around town.
Years of experience in hospitality (they own and operate The Leland House Bed & Breakfast and Rochester Hotel)gives them the expertise in making guests feel welcome and at home in Southwest Colorado.

My husband and I stayed several nights in the loft space on top of a music store next to the Rochester Hotel owned by Kirk Komick and Diane Wildfang. We were treated like family and the place was beautiful. We could walk to the downtown restaurants and shops and to the farmers market on Saturday.
