Dawn Pier

Dawn moved to the beach on the Sea of Cortez because of her love for the ocean and isolation of the desert retreat that Casas del Amanecer provides. She came here from Canada to work on community conservation of Cabo Pulmo National Park, but now writes - she is the East Cape blogger for Baja.com, writes a personal blog and is writing a memoir of the adventures she's had in Baja. When she's not writing, surfing or kiting, she manages the large property where the casita is located, takes care of the six dogs that share it and dabbles in real estate.
