WE LOVE PEOPLE and making them feel comfortable. We have been in the design, build, sale and resale of commercial and residential properties in both the USA and Caribbean. The name 'Waba Laru Beya' translates to 'Our House by The Sea' Simeon is a Garifuna. He speaks Garifuna, his first language, Spanish and English fluently. Simeon is an ex-boxer too!. When not designing and building luxury residence and resort interiors, he specializes in the cooking of Belizean food and playing dominoes.The Garifuna people and their culture has grown immeasurably since their freedom from slavery. It is rich with arts, dance, music and most specifically drums. Punta is the Belizean dance, a must see. I, JoAnn, am of European ancestry and I was raised in Marin County, California USA. My background is in Architecture, Commercial and Residential Real Estate and Insurance. I speak German and English. An international traveller at heart, I've made my final home here in Belize.
