I renovated Blacksmiths Cottage in 2009 and have recently finished the adjoining 'Forge', where I live with my partner who has no involvement in the business. It is worth noting that both properties are private and separate and do not share gardens nor parking, in fact neither one would know the other was there.
Customer service is my priority and living in close proximity allows me be on hand to sort out any any problems, itineraries, child sitting, dog sitting, pick up and drop off's facility for walkers, local arrivals and departures from train stations and airport, receiving and unpacking any on line food shopping ordered in advance of the guests visit, to give you just a few examples.
My desire is for my guests to be enchanted with the Blacksmiths Cottage and Northumberland wanting to return at their next opportunity. It is a hidden gem.
