My husband, Wayne, and I built this house in 2000 while we were in graduate school at UNM. It was a great home for our young sons. When jobs moved us out of state, we just couldn't sell the house; we love it too much. Decorating the house in the rustic Mexican style and including items from our travels throughout Latin America is a passion for me. Our oldest son is now a UNM student. We visit him when we can and enjoy staying in such a calm, relaxing and comfortable environment.

We loved the house and backyard. Any "home away from home" things we needed were already thought of and provided at the rental. The things we wanted to do and places we wanted to see were easily accessible from the house.
