We are Canadians who winter from December – April every year. We are the new owners of Jiveshack and are very keen to be of service to you with our knowledge of the island and Punta Blanca in particular. We live on a 50 acre hay farm and live off grid with solar/turbine system for all our electrical needs. We cut our own firewood and heat our home with wood. We revel in nature and being environmentally conscientious. We have travelled through Mexico and all the other Central American countries for 10 years searching for the best spot to invest our time and winters in. Roatan is the ticket for us with the easily accessible, pristine coral reef around Roatan. Punta Blanca residents call our coral reef “Wonderland” and for good reason. We will be staying in the studio apartment all winter and we are very quiet people. We respect privacy of our guests and will not be seen much as we have projects to be done, reef to snorkel, areas to explore and fish to catch. Pura vida
