We fell in love with this place in 2006 and have been back for at least 1 month every year since. The people of Nicaragua and the town of San Juan Del Sur are so welcoming it is a real joy for us to come down every year to enjoy our little "Piece of Paradise" at Villas De Palermo. We have a growing circle of friends in SJDS and plan on spending more time in Nicaragua as we move into semi-retirement.

We really enjoy sharing our experiences of Nicaragua with others and hope to encourage you to "discover" all the magic that Nicaragua has to offer. A lot of people say Nicaragua is like Costa Rica 25 years ago. That may be true and having traveled in Costa Rica as well, I can say that Nicaragua is as beautiful geographically and there are less people and less "tourists".

So if you are feeling like you need a great vacation, a change from Mexico or Hawaii, then come to Nicaragua. Feel the magic!
