Goodstays Queenstown

All you need do is arrive at your holiday home: a key will be awaiting you in a secure lockbox. You'll be emailed the lockbox code with your booking confirmation information, prior to arrival. Check-in time from 2pm on the day you arrive. At departure, leave house keys inside rental and ensure lock-box key replaced for next guests.

Checkout is strictly 10am. Unfortunately, late checkouts are not generally available due to the fact that cleaners and our maintenance crew need to prepare the property for the next guests after every vacate.

Our holiday rentals are privately-owned properties, and we do everything possible to ensure their upkeep is maintained at the highest levels. Accidents do happen, but the security bond protects the owner from costs associated with any damage incurred or additional cleaning that needs to be completed during a stay.

The security bond is fully refunded once check-out processes and departure checks are completed. All our rates are in New Zealand dollars.

We require guests to pay via credit card (Visa or Mastercard) so that the security deposit can be held.

No - our portfolio of properties are cleaned and maintained to a professional, hotel-grade standard, but these are private residences, not a hotel.

Goodstays runs an after-hours emergency telephone line for guests. (An emergency constitutes a threat to safety and/or to the property, such as a fire, plumbing or electrical fault.)

If there is an issue with a non-urgent appliance for example, we ask that you wait until business hours and then contact us to have the problem remedied.

•Requesting emergency services - dial 111: to request an ambulance, fire fighting services, or the police, the emergency services telephone number in New Zealand is 111.

Deposits are non refundable. Cancellations that occur within 30 days of the arrival date will incur the total accommodation cost.

We will endeavor to facilitate any changes requested after the booking has been confirmed, but please be aware that changes will incur a fee of $50 in addition to any extra payments that become due. Any change must involve taking the revised rental period in the same season as that originally booked. No change can be made within 30 days of arrival.

All Goodstays Queenstown rates are in New Zealand dollars. (NZD).

Unfortunately, additional keys are not available. Goodstays retains master keys of all our properties in-office for security reasons, and to ensure there is always a key available for tradespeople and cleaners. If guests lose a key they will charged a fee.

We will always try to accommodate extensions to your stay, depending on availability of the property. Please contact us to discuss what options are possible.

Yes, our holiday homes are all equipped with linen that is professionally cleaned and changed by our cleaners. This includes: bed linen, bathroom towels/hand towels/bath mats, tea towels. Guests are charged a small fee (per guest) to cover all linen costs.

Goodstays guests also receive more for this small linen charge than with other providers, as we ensure that each and every guest is provided with x two towels per stay.

Yes, a portable cot (including linen) can be supplied for infants for a small additional cost. Please ensure you request the need for a cot in the booking request form when making your reservation.

Queenstown resort is a compact small town, and many of our holiday homes are within walking distance of downtown. There is a good bus service available for most surrounding areas, and pick-up arrangements can usually be made for tours and trips. Ski buses leave from central, downtown locations in winter.

•Supermarkets/food shopping: Queenstown has a comprehensive supermarket (grocery store) and shopping precinct in the Remarkables Park shopping area in Frankton, located 10 minutes from downtown Queenstown near the airport. Buses run here regularly. There is a small supermarket (Alpine Supermarket) located in the centre of downtown Queenstown, and on Robins Road a gourmet delicatessen/fresh produce (Mediterranean Market).

•Hospital/medical care: Queenstown Hospital is located in Frankton, near the airport. There is also a 24/7 medical centre (Queenstown Medical Centre) located in the centre of Queenstown, next to the fire station. In emergencies, dial 111 to request an ambulance.

Yes, all our properties are professionally cleaned by Goodstays Cleaning once guests have departed the property/checked out. A mid-stay clean can be arranged for a small additional charge.

Generally, we take bookings up to a year (12 months) in advance. If your circumstances dictate the need for you to make a reservation earlier than this, please contact us.

Yes, the Connectabus service provides bus transport all around Queenstown, as well as out to Arrowtown. Connectabus also run the red double-decker bus scenic tour. Read all about their bus services at www.connectabus.com or www.doubledeckerbus.co.nz.

Our website is secure for your online credit card payments, yes. Maintaining a safe environment for payments is of the highest priority for us, as well as the software provider that we use to run the Goodstays reservations system.

We have implemented a privacy policy for your protection, and we will abide by that policy. "Data privacy and security govern how we build software."

Some of our homes have wiFido, some do not. (These are privately owned residences, so offering WiFi is a chocie made by the property owner.)
