When I bought this home, everyone (or nearly everyone) told me I should tear it down and start over. But I knew that, underneath the years (make that decades) of neglect, was a home with tons of character and potential. Since moving away from the beautiful Columbia Gorge, I have tried to sell it twice because it seemed the 'financially responsible' thing to do. But I have to admit, I didn't try too hard, and was always (surprisingly) a bit relieved when it didn't sell. This house has a lot of heart, and I'm just not ready to let it go quite yet. I would much rather share it with you. Mosier and the Gorge - and this house - are such special places, I hope you will enjoy them as much as I do.
