Originally from San Francisco, I have lived in this 1765 house for more than 20 years. My children have moved out and the house has been a weekend and dinner party destination for dozens of friends over many years. Now I welcome B&B guests, as well as rent the house for a week minimum. Having lived in Paris, London, New York, San Francisco and South Africa, I love meeting people from all over the world. Extensive travels have clarified for me what I want in an accommodation (good mattress and fine linen, bright reading lamp,meticulous cleanliness, privacy,and a welcoming but not overbearing host). Also important is a fresh, mostly organic plentiful breakfast with the best coffee, as well a a comfortable living room or library, preferably with a roaring fire.
