I am a 72 year old Scot and have lived in Spain for 17 of the last 50 years . This is my home and I live here year round because, having lived in many other parts of the world, I have never found anything to better it. Years ago, I owned and ran the kitchens in two restaurants and today, I delight in offering my guests either lunch or dinner on demand, when they tire of their own cooking !
The climate is subtropical without humidity and with constant sun and fair weather throughout the year. The farm enables me to be semi self-sufficient and allows me to offer my guests the very best of organic vegetables, almonds, olive oil and wine.
Living here, I am always on hand to help whenever needed. The great attraction of La Jarilla is that it offers tranquility and restorative powers through its proximity to nature and yet, it is only a little over an hour by car from Granada, with all its renowned attractions.
