Owner James Henry was a restaurateur for many years with Tamarinds Tropical Bistro in Key West, Florida. He became Miss Veidt's guardian in 1989 due to her declining health. After selling the restaurant, he and Miss Veidt moved to New Orleans in 1999.

This was our first trip to NOLA, although I travel often the other guests have not vacationed for many years. This left me in charge of most of the arrangements including accommodations, the rooms were clean and just as pictured.
