Karen and Spike came on holiday to Slovenia after reading a travel article in the Sunday Times! Being true Francophiles and having learnt French for 10 years and expecting to settle in France, we were amazed with Slovenia. After 2 weeks in Slovenia we chanced upon Fairytale Chalet and bought it there and then.
After 3 years we loved it so much we bought another house to renovate and live in, permanently. Rather than sell Fairytale Chalet we decided to try renting it, to let other people see what an amazing place Slovenia is. After 6 years of successful renting we have met some truly wonderful people from all over the world! They have all had super holidays here, so please look at our site and the guest comments.
