Ken and Kelley Canter

Born and raised in the Triad region of North Carolina, my wife and and I have always loved to come to Boone in the summer as well as the winter.

As children, we came in the summer to ride 'Old Tweesie', pan for gold and swim in the cool mountain streams. During the winters, we came to shop, to ski and to pick out the perfect Christmas tree. What memories!

As adults, we come to enjoy the cool, fresh air, the simpleness of a small town, the wonderful restaurants, the shopping, but most of all, we come to unwind and de-stress and to spend a little time with old friends and family.Of course, we still come for that perfect Christmas tree!
