Adrienne and Jerry are former educators who retired from New Mexico and moved to Tucson,Arizona 14 years ago.They have owned the ranch for 9 years and opened their B&B,Casa de Caballo,last October.Adrienne[better known by her nickname,Vonnie]was a teacher,a mid school and high school principal and an assistant superintendent who always put the needs of her students and teachers before herself.She has also worked with horses for more than 20 years.Jerry is also a "people person"and was a teacher and high school counselor.He also was a building contractor,so he is skilled at keeping the mechanics of the ranch and B&B running smoothly.Both hosts go to great lengths to make their guests' stay memorable.They have extensive knowledge of the area and can provide information about sightseeing and numerous out door activities.Vonnie will guide guests to birding, hiking,and mountain biking trails.She also gives riding lessons,does free ground work seminars and takes guests on trail rides.
