Our love for Isla Mujeres all began on August 1, 2003 when we decided to take a spur-of-the-moment day trip to Isla from Cancun… as many people have done. It took us over an hour to get to Isla on a small fishing boat back then! Little did we know the impact that Isla and all it’s charm would have on us! We fell in love with the pristine beaches, people, culture, food, and the feeling of comfort we had while visiting this quaint island.
