I'm a web designer/developer and own my firm. The Recycled House started out as a small idea and then took on a life of its own. It took over 5 years to collect materials from a TON of places to use in/on the house. Even the daylillies are recycled! (They came from a subdivision that was being torn down.) It's been really satisfying to save amazing materials from the landfill, dumpster, etc. and use them in a thoughtful and creative way.
I've lived in Charlottesville since 1995 and love showing off this town! It's really hard to have a bad meal here. And it's really historic and pretty. There's always something interesting going on!
