We are long-time residents of Little Gasparilla Island and are familiar with all the ramifications -- and benefits -- of living and vacationing on a tropical barrier island. We have had a home here for over 30 years. We have seen a lot of changes on the island, but in many ways, it is still the tranquil, sleepy little tropical island we fell in love with many years ago. Many days you can still walk on the beach without seeing another soul. An adventurous spirit is helpful and a go-with-the-flow mentality makes the island experience even more enjoyable!
