We left Venice, one of the most beautiful cities in the world after many years of experience in the restaurant business. The last restaurant we run was the “Bancogiro”, an informal wine bar with the tables on the Grand Canal near the Rialto market, a place much frequented by Venetian customers and friends who would often came back to visit us.

We feel a bit nostalgic, but we chose to change our lives. For us it is now important, but also an ethical choice, to, to discover the land, go back to nature andits rhythms in the attempt to recover the ancient knowledge with curiosity and desire to learn.

Tuscany, with its landscape was a choice that may seem obvious, but it was decisive to find Pian di Vecchia:once we started feeling the quiet, the silence, the wind, and the positive energy of this place.
