The first time that I came to Samui was over 20 years ago, when arriving at the airport back then, I realised that I had arrived somewhere special, after staying 3 weeks on holidays & touring the island & meeting the friendly locals it was a thought to go back home, when the time came to go home I knew that I would be coming back again.

Since that first time I have been regularily coming back to Samui, usually staying in or near Chaweng

It was't until 2011 that I decided to go ahead & find a place to live in & at the same time rent out when un-occupied. After touring the island & looking at different areas, it was then that I decided to get a new villa built in the Plai Laem/Choeng Mon area

Personally for me a great area to live in, close to 3 different beaches, major tourist attractions and a few minutes in a baht bus/taxi to the main areas of Chaweng or Fisherman's Village
