We both love the out of doors & have done a lot of hiking around New Zealand. Lisa loves sailing & spending 4 years sailing from England to New Zealand in a vintage boat visiting many parts of the world.

'Amuri' was a dream (vision) we had in our early 40s. We wanted to be able to have a change of life and be able to be of an age where we could do it, (physically and mentally) so purchased in 1999 26 acres of pasture land on the north facing hills of Hanmer Springs. We've established 1300 olive trees and 1000's of native plants.

Few people today get or take the opportunity to create something from nothing and own that story. We do and look forward to sharing it with you when you visit.
