I am a refugee from Thatcher's Britain ( Rust in Peace, Iron Lady! ) well travelled (mostly backpacking - dreaming of that elusive upgrade that never comes ;-) and my last trip was driving the Blues Highway (61) from St Louis to New Orleans 3 years ago- music is my first love ( isn't there a cheesy song with those lyrics?) and I had a ball.The Queen's Domain reflects this with music artefacts and posters that I love.
I have had a 30 year love affair with the USA and get there whenever I can primarily for music- next trip is the Appalachians although Tassie has a lot of-erm- similarities!!
But after buying this house 2 years ago have found my desire to travel muted, because often the places you are going to are not matched by what is simply outside the window!
I am blown away daily by the magnificent views from my house and wanted to share my good fortune with others.
So I've set out to create a lovely place that is comfortable,contemporary but also
friendly and warm, but quirky and funky too!

I am a rabid foodie and cook ( mostly Asian/Curries) so if you are a gourmet food lover, I hope that I can make your stay a great one by telling you where to go and eat, and of course if you want to cook, I'm your girl!
