My husband John and I are both design professionals, although I am enjoying a second career in journalism these days. Several years ago, we relocated from New Jersey to Maine for what I refer to as 'a kinder gentler place'. Since relocating, we have been on a continual quest to restore and renovate our circa 1790 home. We are happy to share our second floor apartment with discerning guests who not only appreciate all that 'vacationland' has to offer, but who value and respect historic character and charm as well
