We knew this place was for us the moment we saw it and after 8 years, the view still takes our breath away! We moved from Keswick in the Lake District where for many years we juggled children, full time & part time jobs, performing, composing & recording our music in London. As if all that wasn't challenging enough, once our children had finally flown the nest, we decided to emigrate! Who could blame us!

This was partly to enable us to live a more self-sufficient life style with fewer bills due to having solar power and our own spring water and also to enable us to spend more time on our music.

We never know whether to advertise the fact that we are musicians in case people may think we are noisy rock´n rollers....we can assure you we´re not, keeping our musical activities nearer to the coast. We enjoy the contrast, have no TV & just love the peace and quiet here, very rarely playing music in the house, preferring to listen to the nightingales and other unidentified rustlings.
