A fabulous 360 degree vista over the Prenestini Mountains, and one of the most beautiful views of the Eternal City, and all only 35 kms south east of Rome. .
Takeko is from Tokyo, an ex opera singer, she is passionate about music, good food, and Italy. Tony is from Milan, with long experience as a tour guide. He too is passionate about music, good food, the whole of Italy, and Takeko, his wife.
In June 2007 they decided to realize their long held dream of running a B and B. Having bought an amazing villa, they opened the CLUB K. (fear not, this is NOT a night club) at Castel San Pietro Romano, a jewel of a mediaeval village, perched on the acropolis of the most ancient classical temple, the Temple of Dea Fortuna at Palestrina, city of music.
For Tony and Takeko it will be a constant pleasure to introduce their guests to the secrets of this little known part of Italy, so rich in art and history, and also full of genuine life which still remains almost untouched by tourism. Here you will find everything from saints to sausages, from cultural events to traditional local festivals, from works of art to rare birds and wolves. This is our idea of what tourism should be, and it is why we chose this area, so close to Rome but set in beautiful countryside rich in places
