Hello - let me introduce myself, I'm a graphic designer and advertising creative director. My business is run out of my main home, adjacent to the rental cottage. The "Coop" was built recently to serve as a River Country guest home for my daughters, friends and family members. Previously, I owned a main home in Richmond and a rental cottage on its property, renting it successfully for over 25 years.
This property has been my weekend home for the past 16+ years. I sold my main home in Richmond and moved here full-time about four years ago. I love the area and it's well-educated residents - many from DC, Richmond, and Charlottesville. There's a wonderful YMCA close by, as well as groups like the Rappahannock Art League with its 400+ members. It's a joy to be here and I'm happy to welcome you to my little paradise.
I'm well connected with a variety of groups from sailing to art and literature. I also help put on the Irvington Farmers Market (first Saturday each month from May-November), ranked as one of the top markets on Virginia's East Coast - Irvington parades and concerts, too.
If you'd like to take sailing lessons, go boating, picnicking on an island, or attend wine tastings each Friday, I've got a ready list of contacts.
Please know that all my contacts can be shared only after a booking is made since Flipkey doesn't allow phone numbers, email or website information to be shared beforehand. This protects them from booking losses. Your contact information is also shielded from me until a downpayment is made. Let me know if you have any questions and I'll be quick to answer.
Looking forward to hearing from you,

This cottage is very well designed and makes for a great quiet getaway. Close to the Tides Inn, charming shops, and of course, the water.
