We offer warm hospitality, a peaceful environment to help you unwind, and rest your soul...a place that helps you forget how busy you are, and reminds you of how beautiful the earth is....you will leave revived and restored.

Cathkin Cottage is centrally situated in the heart of Champagne Valley and is in close proximity to all attractions, activities and restaurants. You will find this peaceful place is exactly where you need to be.

Our establishment is intimate and offers 5 private bedrooms each with their own entrance, en suite bathroom, mini bar fridge, and tea and coffee making facility. The rooms are serviced and cleaned daily, and have a fan / heater for those extreme days. We offer either B&B with a delicious breakfast on the patio, or self catering. The exclusive use of the property is for self catering guests...we do not offer self catering for just one room. There is a swimming pool and braai (barbeque) facility, as well as a beautiful patio area for guests to enjoy...all over looking our beautiful garden and the little berg and valley. There are hikes from Cathkin Cottage as well as more serious hiking from Monks Cowl Nature Reserve (8km away) which takes you directly into the mountains. This World Heritage Site boasts the two tallest peaks in the Drakensberg Range...as well as a large collection of bushmans paintings in the Cathedral Peak Valley.
