I've always been very interested in living in small spaces and sustainable housing. I have been a regular volunteer with habitat for humanity on their volunteer construction crews here in Asheville. I am currently starting a project building micro houses to provide people with affordable housing in the Asheville area (houses under 500 sq feet). I feel that there is a great need for affordable green building here in Asheville. I became interested in yurts three years ago and put this one up on my property. I lived here for two years and LOVE life in the round. Now that I'm not living in the yurt, I live in an amazing tent cabin with my wonderful Partner Josh and our 3 fur babies :-)
