I have two properties for renting, the cottage and an apartment for 2 in Dublin which is our own holiday home.
I am Irish and my husband is English. We have French grandchildren.
We have been letting Sansome House Cottage since Christmas 2005 and have very much enjoyed welcoming a huge variety of guests since then, the majority coming from North America and we have some 'old faithfuls' who have come every second year almost since we began letting. We feel particularly pleased when we have 'returners' who are now our friends. Our listing on FlipKey is relatively new. If you are reading the ad just on FlipKey there you will be unaware that the Trip Advisor ad has 31 5 star reviews.
When I am not seeing to the cottage I am busy in our garden. We have an extensive flower, fruit and vegetable garden and I share as much of this with my guests as possible although there is no accounting for weather and garden pests and crops for 2014 have not yet got going (will they ever....?) as the ground is too wet after our appalling winter rains. We have had no flooding though!
We have lived here in our 250 year old house, since 1979 so know the area well and can help with planning trips and advising even before you arrive for your stay. We have had people stay any length of time from 3 days to 3 months (a stay this long is only available in the winter months).
