This favorite place has been our year-round family cottage retreat for well over 10 years. We work and live in Masschusets most of the time, but plan to eventualy retire in Kennbunkport. Our two children (and 2 grandchildren) are both grown now and living out of state. We just completed renovations (new roof, windows, siding, floors) since our children want this to be a place their children can also enjoy growing up, as they did. It is a beautiful and special place to be in any season. Equipped and furnished for our family, this will be he first year that we have chosen to share our place with occasional rental guests. The salt marsh is full of wildlife and changes with the seasons; fall is lovely, and winter weekends are warmed by a cozy gas stove. In the first two weekends of December are the Christmas Prelude...shops open, fireworks, tree-lighting ceremonies and plenty of events to celebrate the season.
