We purchased Bailey Mill in 1994, after searching local rivers for years, trying to locate the ideal vacation home. We were fortunate to finally come across a 285-acre tract on the Satilla River which was ideal. In 1997 we build the house and dock, and have steadily improved the property over the years. We added 44 acres of woodland in 2007.

We have traveled extensively and rented a number of private homes, often finding owners who did not care to go the extra mile for their renters. We have made sure that will not be the case with Bailey Mill. You will find toiletries, plenty of utensils and glassware, cookware, blender, coffee maker, paper towels, bleach and detergent for the washer, etc. It is unlikely that guests will lack anything in our home that they normally use on a daily basis, except for food and clothing. We take a great deal of pride in this property, and believe you will be happy you chose it.
