We live in Ireland but try to spend as much time as possible in Canaules because we just love the place, the surrounding area and especially the local people who we have found to be so friendly and welcoming. When purchased the building was derelict and had been for some considerable time. So even though it involved a major renovation project to get it to the required standard we felt that because of the lovely area in which it was located within the Languedic wine producing region it was a project worth taking on. We had the usual frustrations and set backs during the renovation and times when we felt like tearing our hair out because of the lack of progress but now that everything has been completed we know it was all worthwhile. We have a lovely building. It is the centrepiece of the village where once it was just an eyesore .We just love it here . Jenny & Gerry our excellent caretakers are looking forward to looking after you during your stay in Canaules.
