Our Grand Opening! This is a dream come true for me to return to East Tennessee and Appalachia with my husband John and son, Austin. My family lived from here to southern Kentucky and had their stories to tell of these parts. My Mother born in a one room cabin on the side of a mountain, my Grandparents born and raised in the coal mining community. Pioneers had hard but simple lives. Looking back it wasn't that long ago. We are grateful for the heritage of our family and glad to be back home.
John and I have worked hard to prepare these wonderful cabins for the special events or simple get a ways for our guests coming to Townsend and the Great Smoky Mountains. We enjoy seeing couples, friends and families celebrating life together. We hope you will check out our website and come make a memory here at SMHLC!
