My wife Joanne and I moved to Bowen Island in 2002 to found Cocoa West, enjoy the lifestyle of a small island community and start a family. Joanne's work as a chocolatier has made the shop a destination in the West Coast chocolate world; we created the Chocolate Suite as a way for guests to relax and enjoy her chocolate in a more intimate setting. My own background as an artist comes through in the design of the Suite, in-house graphics and in special chocolate figures and sculptures you might see in the shop.
Kyler our cat and George his (sometimes) friend are usually around to say hello.
