We are a tech couple working in cleantech and software sectors. We love San Francisco for great food, music, arts, and technology with respect for all. Our neighborhood has great coffee shops, chocolatiers, wine and cheese places, Japanese, Mexican, Salvadorian, Peruvian, Indian, South Indian, Vietnamese, Fusion, Italian, Ethiopian and many culinary restaurants from around the world within few blocks. We are foodies and so we love it here. Of course for some great beers, Monk's Kettle is the best. For a sports bar, go to Giordinos. For icecream, famous BiRitte Creamery and try their honey lavender or salted caramel flavor. For a nice afternoon walk, Dolores Park is perfect. For great coffee, go to Four Barrel or Phil's. For the best croissant or dessert, Tartines - which always has a line.
