My husband and I enjoy to come out to our vacation house, so we can raft with our boat on the Arkansas river, ski on Monarch mountain or Ski Cooper, bike or relax in the Hot Springs. People are very friendly here, many artists and athletes call Buena Vista their home. We enjoy the rather warm climate even on 9000 feet elevation. The view of the many 14ers is breathtaking at times. Colorado has over 300 sunny days per year and that makes the outside activities so enjoyable. We love the great taste of tap water, the diversity of restaurants and closeness of the church community. A great destination for ATVing, hunting, fishing and climbing.
