3 Bedrooms 3 bathrooms apartment, large lounge and fully fitted kitchen.Situated just 4km outside of Funchal town centre, in a very good location for eating out and shopping. 10 mins drive and 40 mins walk into centre of town. Only 5 mins walk from big shopping centre, Forum Madeira, which includes supermarket, book shop, cafes, restaurants, cinema, electrical goods shop, etc. Or you can just relax by the lovely infinity pool and admire the views over the Atlantic Ocean and Cabo Girao and beautiful sunsets. The property is located in a closed complex near the sea. Good location. Good bus service and bus stop just outside the main gate. On the oposite side of the road you will find a few shops such a café which sells fresh bread and cakes every day, a fresh fruit & vegetables stall, farmacy and bank branch. Round the corner you will find another café and a few yards down a couple of restaurants. The new motorway takes you straight to the property should you wish to drive there yourself. Quite location.

This was the first time we stayed in a self catering apartment and we had a very pleasant stay, truly beyond expectation...
The apartment had all the facilities we could think of and it feels like you're in a home away from home.
The property was well maintained and kept very clean. Spacious kitchen, living room, all three bedrooms and a balcony with a beautiful sea view.
There's a bakery, grocery shop, fresh fruit & veg shop and a pharmacy just across the road. A bus stop outside & 10 minutes walk from the city centre and lots of restaurants.
The owner, Angela and her nephew both were very helpful from booking until the stay.
If you visit Madeira then I would strongly recommend to stay at Villa Farmosa. -

We have never won the UK Lotto but managed to hit the jackpot twice for our holiday.
Madeira is far more than we expected and will be there again
The apartment is of a quality that you can only dream of so have no fears or worries whatsoever if you are contemplating booking. Clean, comfortable,fully equiped, great facilities and a view to die for. 5 star accomodation.
Great walks by the sea. Local places to eat or only 6 Euros
to Funchal centre. Bakery opposite for fresh daily bread and cakes. Grocery, fruit and veg opposite. Shopping Mall only 10 mins walk away and open until 11pm. Highly reccomended apartment. We`ll be back. Thankyou

Since we travelled already for the second time to Vila Formosa to spend our summer holidays, it was like coming home. The facility of the houses is always in immaculate condition and the pool right in front of the house, is worth such as gold. This also applies to the proximity to the sea. As we travel as family very often in homes in countries around the world, this apartment deserves from us the title of most valuable!The apartment has been prepared in great condition and the whole family is always helpful to all problems. We were allowed to spend ten days, which was so relaxing that we are already looking forward to our next visit to Madeira in the Vila Formosa. Thank you very much!

We had a great stay at Villa Formosa. I was grateful when we arrived and saw that Vino was there to meet us. After 20 hours of traveling with little food or sleep, he was a very welcomed site. He was so nice and helpful. We were so grateful that he waited for us. I mentioned I wanted a coffee maker as I am a big coffee drinker. There was not one at the condo. Lino said he would bring the next day. The next day he brought us one with the gift of coffee. It was wonderful of him to be so thoughtful. The owners really care that you are enjoying your stay and will go out of their way to make sure you have anything you want or need. They responded to any questions we had immediately. I can not express how kind and helpful they were.
Ithe condo is beautiful. The ocean/pool view is amazing from the balcony and living room. The pool is the most beautiful pool I have ever swam in my life. We were always able to get a chair when we wanted one at anytime of the day. It has three bedrooms and everyone gets their own bathroom. The main bedroom has an ocean view out of one of the windows as well. It was very comfortable. It has cable T.V and WI FI. It is very spacious with a full kitchen and living room. The condo is located on one of the main streets in Funchal. This makes it very easy to get around and find your way back home. We rented a rental car and used it daily.
It was a great holiday and I would not hesitate to recommend staying at Villa Formosa while in Funchal.

This is a superior quality, spacious apartment. The owners kept us well informed during the booking process and we were met by the owners nephew who gave us all the info we needed and was on hand should we have any problems.
The view from the balcony is good and the kitchen is well equipped with a good supermarket just 2 mins drive away. There are plenty of towels and some English TV channels.
we were very comfortable and the apartment is very big. The pool area is very clean, with the infinity pool overlooking a beach. There are good restaurants within walking distance, however Funchal is over an hours walk, but there is a bus stop right outside. Taxis cost around 6 euros.
