The Villa has been constructed and appointed in a contemporary fashion and to the very highest quality both inside and out.

This is an excellent option for a Holiday break in Madeira for someone who is looking ofr 5* self catering accommodation of the very highest quality.

  Holiday like a premiership footballer...with kids!

  We were slightly sceptical when making the booking as there were no reviews on any websites and it looked too good to be true, but on arrival we were overwhelmingly happy and taken back by the high quality of this villa.
  
  Where do I start? This property is fantastic.
  It is modern and very spacious (easily slept 6 adults and 5 children) in 4 bedrooms (2 ensuite and 2 shared bathrooms). It has 42inch TV, Sat-tv, DVD, wifi, aircon, pool, dishwasher, utility room with washing machine, brick built bbq...I could go on. In fact I will... It is secure with electric driveway gates so with 5 children (ages 7, 5, 3, 3, 2) they can roam freely and as long as they have their swim gear on (float jackets and armbands) then can go into the pool at will. There is ample supply of both pool-side towels and bath\hand towels; and a welcome pack of fruit, coffee, milk, snacks, etc was provided - which was a nice surprise. It has an itegrated garage in the basement with enough space for about 4 cars - but we used it to store our suitcases during our stay. We were there for 7 days, however the villa was cleaned midweek and fresh towels provided.
  It is in a great location within only 15 minutes drive into central Funchal. You do need a car to get around Madeira.
  
  Now onto Marcia and angelo who are the agents for the villa and who we booked through - they were brilliant. Marcia kept in contact before we arrived, providing car hire information and detailed direction from the airport to the villa. She sent a welcome text when we arrived and was waiting for us at the villa - showing us round and recommending places to visit.
  Our holiday was to celebrate our Mum's 70th birthday, for which Marcia was happy to arrange for a birthday cake to be made, decorated and delivered personally by her to the Villa the day of Mum's birthday.
  
  We wanted a nice restaurant to celebrate, which Marcia recommended; and while she could have just given us directions (as I had Sat-nav) - instead she made the reservation and her husband, Angalo arrived at the villa and drove ahead with us following in our 2 hire cars. The restaurant (O Lagar) has a great atmosphere with a traditional Madeira house frontage, with a huge modern, but traditional tabled area.
  
  Angelo gave us a little overview of the restaurant, then stayed to make sure we settled in, - he even offered to come back when we were finished if we were not sure of the way back to the Villa. For those with children, the restaurant has a play area on the top floor which is only accessible via a glass lift from the restaurant and has Cctv cameras that allow parents to monitor the children playing via 50inch screens, so we could have an adult meal while the children could be seen but not heard!
  
  The only negative on the villa was that the pool heating system was not working and the replacement parts did not arrive from Portugal in time during our stay - which meant while the kids did spend some time in the pool it was not for long periods. Marcia did compensate us financially for the inconvenience which again demonstrated her awareness to provide great customer service.
  
  We will be highly recommending this villa to our friends and family and would certainly return ourselves.
