The "Round House" consists of one large bedroom with a queen size bed and also comes equipped with 2 queen sized sofa beds in the living room. This house is decorated in oriental motif with attention to detail such as the high ceilings and ceiling fans to hand woven wooden blinds. The bathroom features a Jacuzzi tub for two with a shower. The kitchen is fully equipped with refrigerator, stove, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, dinnerware and utensils. The comfort of the living room is enhanced by the 46in.HDTV with DVD player and VCR for your comfort.

My husband and I stayed for a prolonged weekend at the roundhouse cottage at Seameadows with our dog and had a great time. The house is very comfortable and well appointed, steps away from the beach with lots of space around to let the dog play and run. The listing descriptions and photos were accurate. The property is very large with beautiful meadows and trees all around and the cottages are quite far apart ensuring lots of privacy. I can't imagine a better place to stay on Gabriola with a dog (or without). It is close to the ferry,shops and restaurants but yet very quiet. The owners live on the property and were really friendly and helpful, we certainly hope to be back, this quite a unique place. We loved the island, it has lots of beaches to visit and walking trails in the forest, there are good restaurants and shops and also a farmer's market.

We have stayed at the Roundhouse for the past several years and are heading there again next summer. There is a lovely deck to sit out on and the owners are wonderful. I fly my daughter out from Calgary every year and we really enjoy the week we spend.

Brent and I stayed for approx 2 weeks, and this is not the first time that we have been here. We have been here well I guess 8-10 times, and cannot get enough. When we want to get away for peace and quiet, take our dogs and relax, Gabriola Island is the only place to go. You have a beautiful side porch for barbecuing, and or just to sit and watch the ocean.
Craig & Andrea are wonderful hosts, the house is completely fitted for all of your needs no matter what they are. All you have to do is pack your bags and go. Hot tub, gym, playground for the kids, places to walk, and you are just across the street from the ocean. How much better can your vacation be. This is a perfect getaway for any time of the year. I encourage anyone to go. I cannot brag enough and you can bring your dogs, which is very important for us. Watch the deer roam in front of the windows, great crabbing and fishing, what ever your needs this is the best place to be.Response from Jason Larson - 09/21/2011
