KingstonThis was a perfect short term stay.
Left on 10/20/2012 for a stay in October 2012
Thanks so much Derek for your hospitality, from the moment we arrived to when we left we felt welcome. A beautiful location. We were travelling from Ontario to visit extended family in several locations and chose this to be homebase. What a great idea. It was so nice to come home to a home and not just a room. It was clean and the furniture was comfortable. The washer and dryer in the suite was super convenient. I had no trouble booking and we did all money exchanges by email money transfer. I would definitely stay again. Make sure to check out the small pottery shop in the little downtown.

Fredericton, NBFantastic hidden gem!
Left on 08/22/2012 for a stay in July 2011
My husband and I stayed here last summer. It is a fantastic spot. The village is full of artisans, friendly locals, and curious travelers. It's a quaint old town that welcomes everyone.
The suite is beautiful with exclusive décor and furnishings. It feels luxurious yet still has the old world charm. It has the modern amenities and the most advanced electronic technology to make every connected or hi-tech camper happy.
The private dock was the highlight of the trip. Relaxing on the peaceful river is everyone's dream!
This year, we'll go back in the fall. Cozying by the fireplace, overlooking the beautiful Saint John River, is what I have in mind! -

Fletcher's Lake, NSWonderful Week in Gagetown - Boating on the Saint John River
Left on 08/21/2012 for a stay in August 2012
This is a one bedroom apartment over the garage of Derek & June Pleadwell's lovely home. It has it's own private entrance and all the comforts of home. They are conveniently located along the waterfront. Everything in the apartment is new, spotlessly clean and it was truly a wonderful week. There is a private dock across the street for your boat if you are planning to cruise the river, a must for this area.
Gagetown is a lovely village. Everyone is very friendly and they will wave to everyone, whether you are a local or just visiting the area.
The Pleadwell family were very helpful during our stay. Anything we needed or questions we had were quickly taken care of with a smile. Very friendly and inviting.
Don't hesitate to book your stay if planning a trip to Gagetown. -

New ZealandBeautiful apartment right on the St John river!

I stayed at Derek and Junes lovely property for 2 weeks when I first moved to Canada. I couldn't have asked for anything more.. The apartment was very comfortable and relaxing with a beautiful view of the river. The apartment was very well equipped, with Wi-fi, a large kitchen, big TV and even a fireplace!
It is a simply amazing location and i had a great time exploring the area and boating on the St John river (which is literally on the doorstep!). I have stayed in many apartments/hotels around the world, and this would be near the top! A beautiful location, house and people!
Hope you to see you both again soon, all the best!
