The home has been all updated. There are three level to the home. The lower level has Laundry facilities, Full bath, Family room area with sliding doors to outside deck, also a Bedroom with two full size beds.
The first level has a great room with a stonewall fireplace, full kitchen, harvest eating table, screened porch, and a deck. It also has a queen size bed in bedroom and a full bath.

This property is located in The galena territories, a unique golfing community with many family activities! It is about 15 minutes from the town of galena which is an old stage coach town along the Mississippi river. The town is full of little shops and restaurants that is set into the hillside. There is lots of wildlife in the area, many species of birds, wild turkey, & deer. There is an Inn at the territories where there is a spa for your leisure enjoyment, also a gift shop and a main restaurant and a bar restaurant. There are many events throughout the year organized in the area such as a hot air balloon events, civil war days, etc. You can also rent a pontoon boat and enjoy a sail around lake galena. There is also a stable where you and your family can enjoy a trail ride or a rodeo over the 4th of July holiday weekend. There is a new local hospital in Galena.
You are about 30 minutes from the border of Dubuque Iowa, there is a gambling boat & other site seeing attractions.

What a great place to celebrate a family milestone, my parents 50th Wedding annivewrsary. We had both adults and children traveling with us to enjoy all of the amenties that the house offers. The owner has done a fantastic job keeping the home clean, up to date with decor and today's standards of travel. We would recommend this home for any gathering as it is very clean and great location. Very easy to work with the owner as well.

We had the opportunity to stay in your comfortable Galena home in October of 2011. It was our 3rd time staying there, and we cannot say enough about how much we love it. There is lots of room to spread out, and the house if fully stocked with anything you might need (kitchen too!). There is a beautiful covered porch and great views of the rolling hills of the golf course. Sandy is incredibly accommodating and flexible and responsive to our needs. Thank you again, Sandy, for sharing your little piece of Heaven with us!

My family and I have spent a weekend at this home with friends for four consecutive years. The house is spacious, always clean and very condusive to a relaxing weekend. We love it and look forward to returning next year!

This property is very well located in the Galena Territory and close to the Eagle Ridge Resort with tennis, volley, pool, golf and access to the lake (paddle boats are available).
It was very comfy and large enough for our group of 7 people, we also enjoyed the large lawn in the back of the house. Furnitues, kitchenware and even boardgames, all there was ready to welcome us.
