A genuine Log Cabin built with 10" white pine logs, 225' treed driveway on a beautiful wooded lot. The Log House is breathtaking with custom nature paintings throughout the home, whimsical decor, wood floors, dazzling red plaid carpeting and lots of imagination. Located near the Owners Club this charming log home accommodates up to 8 guests comfortably. Three inviting bedroom suites (queen beds), the Master suite has a separate shower and whirlpool bath. 3 1/2 baths. Three levels (bedroom on each level), spacious open floor plan, boulder fireplace, loft, screen porch, charcoal grill, deck and patio. Welcome Basket.

My wife and I had a much needed time away for the weekend. The cabin was beautiful. We relaxed and enjoyed the sites in the area and loved returning to the cabin for a peaceful respite... overall the cabin is beautiful, wonderfully decorated and situated in a peaceful location. We even saw some deer out the window in the morning...

The Johnson Log Home is a beautiful three bedroom cabin tucked away in a wooded lot in the Galena Territory. The open floor plan gives it a large but cozy feel for families, adults, or couples. There is a floor to ceiling stone fireplace in the great room and three outside patios (one screened area). Each bedroom has its own full bath, sitting area, and floor. It is as if each bedroom has a private area of respite. There is a hot tub located by the woods, a barbeque grill on the main level deck, and a pool table on the lower level. The cabin was spotless. If looking for family options such as a pool, gym, gameroom, etc...the owners' club is a short walk and a lot of fun for all ages.
It is a relaxing environment. The four adults traveling in our party are already making plans to return with more family.
Although there was no wireless internet connection provided! we were able to get a 3G Verizon connection. For whatever reason our at&T; connection was slow.
I have rented in the Galena area for nearly twenty years; this was an excellent house rental.
If you like the pine look and feel of a cabin, the trees within reach, and a quiet area to rest or play- this is an excellent choice.
