Description from the owner
In the coutryside but with fast access to the cities of montpellier and nimes,the house is within a secure gated complex traffic free ,with great swimming pool and playgrounds.
A short drive will bring you to one of the great beaches on the mediterranean, or explore the camargue ,its nature,and see the famous camargue horses in their natural habitat.
The house with its two bedrooms upstairs is open plan downstairs, with seperate bathroom,shower,,and a fully equipped kitchen to prepare your meals ,and entertain outside under the parasol,in the long summer evening ,peaceful and traffic free.

We stayed at the villa from the 8th to 15th of april 2011.
Pros
-Very clean and fresh smelling when we arrived
-Great communication with owner (and we pestered him with questions!!)
-Easy to find (Google maps-search for Les Jasses De Camargue)
-Free parking on site (just like parking at a hotel)
-Safe gated access -quiet!
-Local contacts provided and if all else fails, there is hotel staff nearby
-Local info pamphlets provided in villa
-Coin laundry facilities on site
-Well equipped-all you need to bring are your clothes and food!

Cons
-Pool closes at 8PM
-No Wi-Fi
-Couldn't stay longer because we had to go back to work!!
Other--
Driving the countryside by yourself is super easy and you can find a 'Caveau' to buy wine every 10 minutes! The one just beside Gallargues is particularly good (and cheap).
25 minutes drive to Montpellier(1.40 toll)
15 minutes to Nimes(1.40 toll)
45-55 minutes to Carcasonne(8.10 toll)
3 hours drive to Lyon(34 toll)
65-80 minutes drive to aix-en Provence (24.40 toll)
We preferred the back roads after paying tolls for the first few days. All roads seem to be very well signed and easily navigated. Too many things to see and do to list.
Conclusion---We would recommend staying at this location to anyone wanting a self guided stay in the South of France. It was too cold for us to swim but we did see the beaches and they look amazing!
