The views from this top floor condo, considered as one of the best locations in Pointe West, are incredible. From the two balconies you can see the sunrise, the sunset, and you have views of the Gulf of Mexico, Galveston Bay and San Luis Pass. The condo faces the beach with an unobstructed view and has a dune walkover directly in front of the condo for easy beach access. Wicker furniture with comfortable cushions complete your relaxing experience on the balcony as you feel the breeze and watch beachgoers, the surf and a variety of bird life. Modern electronic locks mean you never have to worry about lost keys, and who has the key to get in if... the family splits up to different locations.

Guests also have access to the Pointe West Beach Club with its infinity pool, children's pool and heated spa. There are also locker rooms, an exercise room, gift shop, cabanas for rent, and a dune walkover with outdoor showers. The Beach Club is accessible from covered parking by an elevator. On the bay side is the Sunset Pool facility with a lazy river pool and a spa, all with a magnificent view of the sun setting across Galveston Bay.

The interior is tastefully decorated with stylish furniture and decorations. The family room has a sleeper sofa and an oversized chair and side chair. There are two end tables and lamps, and two coffee tables. There is a dining room table that seats 8 people adjacent to the kitchen. The kitchen has all new appliances and is complete with glasses, dishes, utensils, pots and pans, toaster, coffee maker, blender, dishwasher and most importantly, a corkscrew. The granite counter tops and ample space make this a great vacation kitchen. There is a bonus room on the other side of the kitchen with a view of the beach and the bay that is outfitted with two Lazy Boy swivel recliner rockers. The room also has a working desk for those who need to bring the office with them. There is a washer and dryer for those who are staying longer. There are two charcoal grills near the condo that are available for guests on a first come first serve basis. This is a perfect floor plan for a beach vacation.

The master suite has a king size sleigh bed with underbed storage. Two end tables with lamps and a dresser complete the decor. The master bath has dual vanities and both a shower and a garden tub as well as a large walk in closet. Bedroom two has two twin beds and a private full bath. It has a view of the bay. Bedroom three has a queen size bed with a dresser and two end tables. Both bedrooms have closets.

For entertainment the condo has three flat screen HD TV's and three Blu-Ray's. There is cable access for the TV's and complimentary high speed WIFI for those who want to "keep in touch" during their stay. In addition there are board games and a selection of DVD movies for the guests. A telephone is also available for local calls. The condo comes with a reserved parking space underneath the building and elevator service.

Included in the reservation is access to the amenities of the Galveston Country club, located in Pirates Cove on the West End only a short drive from Pointe West. It is a unique private club where members and visitors enjoy a challenging golf course, upscale tennis facilities, a beautiful swimming pool and an outstanding dining experience where you can bring your family and guests.

  This place was amazing! The condo had plenty of room and an amazing view. The walk to the beach was only a few steps away, worked great with our kiddos. We shopped at the local grocery store which offered everything we needed, the prices were a little higher but nothing that you wouldn't expect for beachtown shopping. We stopped by the beach club even tho the weather was a little chilly, can't wait to make another trip and see what this place is like in the summer :) We will be coming back for sure!!

  luxurious family fun

  We have stayed at Pointe West on 5 seperate occassions now and this unit by far, was our favorite!! The only thing is a little longer walk to the pool but I would not trade all of the other luxeries that 'Life's a Beach' afforded for a shorter walk. Being right at the beach walk over was a bonus

  The condo was beautiful in the photos, but was even better in person. The balcony was huge with extremely comfortable furniture (on the patio and throughout the condo). Even with 6 adults and 2 children, it was very spacious and we never felt cramped. We were given the passcode to enter, so all we had to do was arrive. Checkout was just as easy, with the most prompt deposit refund ever. Lyndsey & Stephanie were fabulous and we will not be renting from anyone else after this wonderful experience.
