Description

Charming little house on two floors in the picturesque village of Gandria with partial view of the Lake of Lugano. Completely renovated with hand-made terra cotta floors, wood stove, new bathroom and nice kitchen. Fully equipped with dishwasher, washing machine and dryer, telephone, computer with free Internet access, ironing board, bed linen and towels.

The name “Casa Parrucchiere” comes from the building’s use as a barbershop 100 years ago (sign still visible on facade). The house was owned by Swiss painter Fritz Meijer (1900-1969), who used it to exhibit his artwork.

Outside the entrance is a “pergola” (arbor) and table for two shaded by grapevines.
